Veteran Owned Business Directory Project
eWareness is the proud designer and publisher of the Veteran Owned Business Directory. This site is the nation’s largest directory of businesses owned by veterans, active duty military, reservists, service disabled veterans and military spouses. As a Veteran Owned Web-Centric Marketing, Design and Technology Firm, we take great pride in this project! All illustrations, layout, design and online marketing (over 33,000,000 page views since launch) was done by eWareness. Not to mention all news and blog posts were done by members of eWareness' staff.
This project included building a custom database for each veteran owned business listing (currently nearly 16,000); for 3 different listing forms and a site-wide sponsorship programs that allows sponsors to build a campaign from the highest level (category-wide sponsor) down to the lowest level (city sponsor).
eWareness officially launced the VeteranOwnedBusiness.com Directory on Veteran’s Day 2008 (November 11th). We launched an online campaign that included contacting various and relevant social networking sites, online publications and federal/state/city government sites. eWareness also created a PR campaign which brought in immediate site traffic. Within no time VeteranOwnedBusiness.com was reaching as many as 15,000 unique visitors a day and getting as high as 50 listings in one day.
eWareness also takes great pride in helping the Veteran Owned Business Directory reach nearly 25,000 Facebook supporters and over 11,000 Twitter followers.
